The faculty and staff are an important link with the students of the College. Our faculty act as mentors, club advisors, and educators. Staff members are instrumental in assisting students in labs and in helping make their time at NC State more enjoyable. In each department, there can be found a few faculty and staff members that have gone beyond their daily tasks to assist the students, spending hours with the club activities, taking students on trips, talking over problems, being their “mom” or “dad” away from home. They have enriched the life of the student beyond the education that NC State offers.
Current and retired faculty and staff members are eligible for this award.
Winners, nominators, family and friends will be invited to attend a reception on the Friday prior to Tailgate. They will also receive a plaque at Tailgate.
