Announcing the Creation of the Carmen R. "Carm" Parkhurst Poultry Science Teaching Program Endowment

In an effort to honor the distinguished teaching, program development, and student mentoring career of Dr. Carmen R. "Carm" Parkhurst and to provide a continuing source of funding to support the teaching program in the Department of Poultry Science in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences at North Carolina State University, the Department of Poultry Science and friends and colleagues of Dr. Parkhurst have established the CARMEN R. "CARM" PARKHURST POULTRY SCIENCE TEACHING PROGRAM ENDOWMENT in the North Carolina Agricultural Foundation, Inc. Income from this endowment will be used to provide flexible funds to enhance teaching in the NC State University department of Poultry Science. The use of the earnings from this endowment will be determined by the Head of the NC State Department of Poultry Science in conjunction with the Department's Academic Programs Committee.
