Partnership Opportunities with NC State Scientists

The Innovation Fair is a marketplace of ideas, where leading College of Agriculture and Life Sciences faculty and their collaborators from across NC State’s diverse disciplines and colleges will showcase ongoing and emerging scientific research in human health, global sustainability and other areas of endeavor. The conference schedule will allow ample time to network with faculty and discuss potential areas of collaboration. Private space has been reserved to accommodate extended conversations. Office of Technology Transfer staff will be available to execute confidentiality agreements if desired.

Exhibit Competition

Cash prizes of $1,500, $1,000, and $500 will be awarded to the research programs of the first, second and third place winners of the competition. Exhibits will be judged by a panel of NC Agricultural and Life Sciences Research Foundation board members for quality of presentation and adherence to the conference theme, “Stewards of the Future: Research for Human Health & Global Sustainability: research for human health and global sustainability.”

Set-up*:  7:00 – 8:00 a.m.
Breakfast available: 7:45 – 9:00 a.m.
Break refreshments provided: 10:30 - 11:00 a.m.
Lunch available: 11:30 – 1:00 p.m.
Exhibits open:  8:00 – 9:00 a.m.
  10:30 – 11:00 a.m.
  Noon – 1:00 p.m.
  3:00 – 3:30 p.m.
Cocktail reception: 5:00 – 6:30 p.m.
Take-down*: 6:30 – 7:30 p.m.

*College staff will be on hand to help with move-in and move-out
