CALS Alumni and Friends Awards Who’s your choice? Send us your nominations for the CALS Alumni and Friends awards to be presented at Tailgate 2002. THE CATEGORIES ARE: Outstanding Alumni — Alumni who have used skills/training to excel in chosen fields and have enriched their communities Outstanding Young Alumni — Alumni under 30 (as of Dec. 31, 2002) who have shown leadership and excelled in chosen fields Outstanding Faculty/Staff — Any current or retired faculty or staff member who has excelled in teaching and interacting with current or former students Partners Award — Any company, organization or non-alumnus who has contributed in any way to the College to enhance its research, teaching and extension programs. To nominate: Simply write a letter of nomination of one to two paragraphs explaining why your nominee should be honored. Please include name and contact information of one person knowledgeable about the candidate’s accomplishments. The committee will contact that person for more information. DEADLINE for nominations is July 10, 2002.
