Mark an historic anniversary on Tailgate Saturday! Sept 14: It’s the 50th anniversary of J.S. Dorton Arena at the N.C. State Fairgrounds. The arena’s unique architectural design has won it acclaim as one of the significant structures of recent times. This year Dorton Arena will be the site for Tailgate 2002! Meet us inside the blue glass arena — it’s all ours for our tailgate meal, special attractions, family activities, exhibits and live music for College of Agriculture and Life Sciences alumni and friends! Then head for Carter-Finley Stadium for Wolfpack football, as N.C. State takes on the Wake Forest Demon Deacons. Shuttles from parking to event to game will be provided.
