Many thanks to our county Cooperative Extension Service staff members for their work with the May 25 Nickels for Know-How Referendum!

The Nickels for Know-How Referendum - a voluntary assessment on feed and fertilizer produced in North Carolina - has been held every six years since 1951 and has passed by an average positive vote of 90 percent.
When the users of feed and fertilizer in North Carolina vote in support of the Nickels For Know-How program, they vote to keep a good thing going!
The Nickels for Know-How Program generates approximately $1.2 million annually in support of Academic, Extension and Research programs in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences at N.C. State University.
