Club Day and alumni events
The
Animal Science Club held its alumni reunion in conjunction with the
Club Day Livestock Show in April. There alumnus Steve Siffert (above,right)
served
as judge in the showmanship event won by N.C.
State senior Christen Raynor. The
two-day event, held at the new Beef Education Unit at Lake
Wheeler Road Field
Laboratory in Raleigh, included tours of the field laboratory; showings of horses,
swine, sheep and dairy and beef cattle; a barbecue dinner and entertainment by
bluegrass band Carolina Road.
