Animal Science Department and ANS Club hold second annual alumni reunion

More than 300 alumni and students enjoyed the Animal Science reunion festivities in April.

Ornate letter "T" he NCSU Animal Science Club and the Animal Science Department held their second joint Alumni Reunion on April 2 at the new Beef Education Unit on Lake Wheeler Road. Held in conjunction with Animal Science Club Day activities, the event attracted more than 80 people for Club Day and the associated luncheon, while an additional 225 attended the evening dinner gathering. The Kruger Brothers bluegrass band of Wilkesboro provided entertainment.

Current members of the Animal Science Club organize the reunion each year. Sponsors for 2004 include Lowe’s Foods, Carolina Farm Credit, Wake County Farm Bureau, the Department of Population Health and Pathobiology at N.C. State’s College of Veterinary Medicine, the CALS Alumni and Friends Society, the N.C. State Animal Science Department and the NCSU Animal Science Club.
