Gamma Sigma Delta names new alumni, honorary members

Gamma Sigma Delta initiates were honored in April.

Ornate letter "T"he North Carolina State University chapter of Gamma Sigma Delta, the honor society of agriculture, recently initiated new alumni and honorary members. From left are Dr. Jim Young, chapter president and head of the Department of Biological and Agricultural Engineering at N.C. State, and new members Dr. Larry Sykes, retired director of agricultural programs for Philip Morris USA; Elaine Marshall, North Carolina Secretary of State; E. Norris Tolson, North Carolina Secretary of Revenue; and Dan Warren of J.A. Warren Company, a feed ingredient manufacturer in Charlotte. Society membership is based on distinguished service and leadership. Gamma Sigma Delta held its 50th annual initiation ceremony and awards banquet in April.
