New executive director named to CALS Alumni and Friends Society

Ornate letter "S"cott Troutman has been named the new executive director of the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences Alumni & Friends Society. He joined the College Advancement team on June 1. A 1989 graduate of N.C. State in chemical engineering, Troutman comes to the College from BearingPoint Inc. in Atlanta, where he was a management consultant. From 1998 to this year Troutman served as president of the Atlanta N.C. State Club, and he was named N.C. State Alumni Association’s Young Alumnus of the Year in 2003.
