2006 Resource Development Awards presented in April

In April 13 ceremonies at the N.C. State University Club, the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences presented its 2006 Resource Development Awards.
The awards, which recognize faculty, retired faculty, staff teams and student organizations for outstanding efforts in raising funds in support of College programs, were presented at the annual joint luncheon of the N.C. Agricultural, Dairy and Tobacco Foundations.
Dr. Roger McCraw, head of the Department of Animal Science, and Dr. Todd Klaenhammer, William Neal Reynolds and Distinguished University Professor of food science, were honored with Faculty Resource Development Awards. Dr. T. Carlton Blalock, director emeritus, North Carolina Cooperative Extension Service; Dr. Henry Fleming, professor emeritus of food science; and Dr. Vic? Jones, professor emeritus of food science, were winners of? Retired Faculty Awards. The N.C. Cooperative Extension Secretaries Association, represented by Mary Ann Lofgren, president, won the Staff Team Resource Development Award. The N.C. State Animal Science Club, represented by students Stephanie Moffitt, president, and Anna Wiest, along with adviser Dale Miller, was the student organization award winner.
Additionally, an award for Special Achievement in Resource Development was presented to Dr. Roger Crickenberger, associate director of the N.C. Agricultural Research Service.
