GSD Honor Society of Agriculture honors 2007 faculty, alumni initiates
The N.C. State chapter of Gamma Sigma Delta, the Honor Society of Agriculture, recognized five faculty members of the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences at GSD's 2007 initiation program and awards banquet April 17.
Faculty initiates included Dr. Maria Andrea Azcarate-Peril, Department of Food Science; Dr. Edwin Jones, associate director and state program leader, North Carolina Cooperative Extension Service; Dr. Hsaio-Ching Sunny Liu, Department of Animal Science; Dr. R. Marshall Stewart Jr., head of the Department of 4-H Youth Development and Family and Consumer Sciences; and Dr. Joseph P. Zublena, North Carolina Cooperative Extension Service associate director and director of county operations.
Also honored were NCSU alumni Steve Troxler, state agriculture commissioner, and Billy Ray Hall, N.C. Rural Economic Development Center.
