College presents 2008 Awards for Excellence

In April, the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences presented its 2008 Awards for Excellence during a luncheon at the University Club, N.C. State University campus.

Receiving the awards were Linda Warrick, Department of Agricultural and Resource Economics; Wendy J. Moore, Department of Zoology; Peggy Longmire, Department of Soil Science; Roberta Miller-Haraway, Department of Soil Science; Pamela Jordan-Carrington, Cooperative Extension, Durham County; and John Dorner, Extension area specialized agent, Western District. Moore was also honored in May as a winner of one of the University Awards for Excellence.

The winners were honored for outstanding service and contributions in the areas of innovation, public service, safety/herorism and/or human relations.
