State University provost, far behind as he surges ahead to win the small tractor race on the Brickyard during Ag Awareness Week in April. The race was one of many brickyard attractions, such as cow milking and an egg toss, that featured participation by university faculty members, administrators and state officials. Sponsored by Alpha Zeta fraternity, Ag Awareness Week also included an evening forum addressing current agriculture news and issues, with a focus this year on biofuels.
