Master Gardeners offer custom license plate
Date posted: August 19, 2011
N.C. Master Gardeners Volunteer Association and N.C. State University have partnered to develop a North Carolina Master Gardener license plate. Legislation approving the new custom license plate was approved this summer by the General Assembly and signed by Gov. Bev Perdue.
Before the plates can be printed, the state’s Department of Motor Vehicles must receive 300 applications. The cost of the plate will be $20, with half of the proceeds going to DMV and half to the Master Gardener Endowment, maintained by the NCSU Agricultural Foundation.
The license plate order form is available online at: ncmgva.camp8.org/Resources/Documents/Application%20for%20MG%20License%20Plate.pdf
