Cotton Field Day is Sept. 12

N.C. State University’s Cotton Field Day will take place Sept. 12 at the Upper Coastal Plain Research Station in Rocky Mount. The bi-annual event, co-sponsored by the N.C. Cotton Producers Association, will focus on latest research into cotton tillage, variety trials, disease and insect management and rotational considerations.
Registration begins at 12:30 p.m., with exhibits. The field tours will begin at 1:30 p.m. There will be two tour cycles, concluding at 5:45 p.m. with dinner and a program.
The field day is sponsored by N.C. State’s N.C. Agricultural Research Service and N.C. Cooperative Extension Service, along with the N.C. Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services and the N.C. Cotton Producers Association.
