Daubert accepted for Food Systems Leadership Institute

Dr. Christopher Daubert, head of the Department of Food, Bioprocessing and Nutrition Sciences, has been accepted for the Fall 2013 Food Systems Leadership Institute, an executive leadership development program for academia, industry and government.

Dr. Marshall Stewart, special assistant to the dean and associate director of the North Carolina Cooperative Extension Service in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences, has been named director of the Food Systems Leadership Institute, succeeding Dr. Ken Swartzel, who has directed the institute since it was founded and is retiring.

Dr. Steven Lommel, associate director of the North Carolina Agricultural Research Service and North Carolina State University assistant vice chancellor for research, has been accepted to the two-year Food Systems Leadership Institute program.
