TERMS:

  • Prepayment required.
  • Purchase orders: Accepted, but not required.
  • Currency: Payment is accepted only in U.S. currency or money order, or by a check drawn on an American bank because University regulations do not allow acceptance of foreign currency or checks. No exceptions to this policy can be made.
  • Important: Overseas purchasers paying through a bank should instruct the bank to include the following information with payment:
  • title(s) of publication being ordered,
  • the number of copies wanted, and
  • the correct shipping address.

Checks received without this information will be returned to the bank for instructions, delaying the order.

  • Bank Charges: We cannot pay bank charges for currency conversion. Purchasers experiencing currency conversion problems may find it helpful to work with an international serials vendor. Some web sites listing serials vendors are:
  • Credit Cards: We regret that we cannot accept credit cards.
  • Invoices: We do not automatically invoice previous purchasers for the next year’s volume. Invoices are sent upon request by Fax (U.S. only) or postal service, or emailed as a Microsoft Word attachment. If you need an invoice, or wish to reserve the most recent volume, please contact us.
  • Returns & Refunds: We regret that we cannot allow returns or refunds
  • Agency Discounts: We regret that we cannot provide agency discounts or discounts for multiple copies.

ADVANCE RESERVATIONS FOR CURRENT YEAR’S VOLUME: Upon request, we will reserve copies of the current year’s volume, in advance of publication, on a first-come, first-served basis. Reservation requests are accepted at any time during the year.

BACK ISSUES: Most volumes are still available in the original, bound format. Volumesout of print in the original form are available in an alternative printed 8-1/2 x 11 format, reproduced in a durable, loose-leaf format in a protective binder, suitable for permanent rebinding. Please allow a few extra days for reproduction, which is on-demand. Contact us to inquire about availability.

PROGRAM ABSTRACTS BOOKLET: So long as copies are available, with each Recent Advances order, we ship the Program Booklet for the entire conference, which contains the abstracts of all papers scheduled for presentation at the time of printing. When the Program Booklet supply is exhausted, Recent Advances is shipped without it, unless a reproduction of the Program Booklet is requested. Quotations for the Program Booklet are supplied on request and cost depends upon publication length and shipping address.
