From its historic, land-grant beginnings, NC State has been charged with providing members of the working classes with a liberal yet practical education. In the tradition of that mission, the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences is proud to offer degrees in a unique combination of disciplines incorporating the basic life sciences and applied agricultural sciences. We have more than 4,000 students enrolled in associate, baccalaureate and graduate degree programs in 18 departments. DIRECTOR
