From its historic, land-grant beginnings, NC State has been charged with providing members of the working classes with a liberal yet practical education. In the tradition of that mission, the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences is proud to offer degrees in a unique combination of disciplines incorporating the basic life sciences and applied agricultural sciences. We have more than 4,000 students enrolled in associate, baccalaureate and graduate degree programs in 18 departments.
