Our teaching programs prepare undergraduates and graduate students to work in the food industry, and our research programs explore new ways to make safer, more affordable food while protecting the environment. Through Cooperative Extension programs, food production and service industries gain information to ensure the safety of the foods they create and serve, and individuals learn how to eat right, prepare foods safely and stretch their food dollar.
