Garden calendars make good holiday gifts
Looking for an unusual holiday gift? The "In the Garden with Bryce Lane 2007 Weekly Calendar" may be just the thing.

The weekly calendar features photographs by Lane, host of the UNC-TV show “In the Garden,” produced by North Carolina State University's Communication Services Department. The photos include images of ornamental plants, along with scenes from gardens around the world. Gardeners also will appreciate the timely gardening tips included each week.
The calendar is $15 and may be ordered by calling 919.513.3255 or in person at the Butler Communication Services Building, N.C. State University, 3210 Faucette Drive, Raleigh, NC 27695. Phone orders require a $2 mailing fee.
Bryce Lane is a national-award-winning instructor in the Horticultural Science Department at N.C. State University. Each week on UNC-TV stations, he weaves his love of gardening and teaching into an enjoyable and educational show for gardeners both new and experienced. Viewers may even choose to get academic credit for watching the show.
