Learning Objectives:	To describe the essential components of budgeting in the FFA chapter. To describe concepts associated with successful fundraising in FFA programs.
The Basics: Read and study this material if your experience with FFA and 4-H is limited.	There are no basic materials this week.
The Main Lesson: Read these materials	Fundraising can be dangerous for youth. Does funding drive education? Take a look at this review of 2002 North Carolina education legislation and count the number of references to funding. Example fundraising ideas for youth groups. Visit the Texas Tech website for great information on fundraising, grants and grant-writing, and other nifty ideas. For a sample FFA chapter budget, please click here.
