Introduction:Image of person writing To the uninformed, agricultural and extension education is an unknown. The average person doesn't know much about the field, little alone the philosophy undergriding the field. There is a strong philosophical underpinning for agricultural and extension education. As professionals in the field, you should be aware of the philosophical beliefs that support agricultural and extension education. When you finish this lesson you should be able to hold your own with anyone in a discussion of the philosophy of education in general or agricultural and extension education more specifically.
