This log should be an accurate portral of where we went, what was said, and what we saw at each stop. In addition to the factual information, this log should also contain your impressions of each stop. Were you dissappointed, elated, thrilled, saddened, etc. at each stop? Were the programs average, above average, or below average? In other words, what was your gut reaction to what was presented at each stop. The log will count for 30% of your grade. This is due July 6. 6. You will prepare a paper titled "A Comparison of Cooperative Extension or Agricultural Education Programs in North Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia, Kentucky and Ohio." In this paper you will compare and contrast either the extension program or the agricultural education programs in each state. Depending upon which program you are writing are you might want to talk about local and state programming, state and local organization and staffing patterns (multi-county vs. one county), funding, accountability, facilities, courses offered, how curriculum is determined (state mandated vs. local decision), FFA activities, SAE program, facilities, and state structure and organization for agricultural education.
