Course Calendar


June 15 - Send an e-mail to other members of the class introducing yourself. You can do it earlier than this. See the class roster for a list of e-mail addresses.

June 15 - Send an e-mail to the class instructor with one unusual fact about yourself.  This is going to be compiled into a list and your goal during the trip will be to identify the various folks. Some of the unusual facts from my last class were:

  • " I shot a record book trophy buck with a bow and arrow"
  • "I was the first female park ranger in North Carolina"
  • "There is a statue of me in my home town."
  • "As a child I had a tea party with Governor Wallace of Alabama"
  • "I speak five foreign languages."

June 15 - Visit all the web sites on the traveling seminar itinerary and prepare 5-10 questions that you would like to have answered from the traveling portion of the course. Send these questions to the class instructor.

June 25-29 - Traveling portion of the course. There will be nightly seminars.

July 6 - Send your "ideas" paper to the instructor. Also send an e-mail to your fellow classmates briefly describing what idea you are going to implement.

July 6 - Your "log" assignment is due.

July 13 - Your "comparison" paper is due.
