Class 9: Developing a Line of Program Logic

  

Lesson Objectives:

At the completion of the lesson you should be able to: Explain how program theory links to and aids in logic model development. Explain the use of logic modeling as an integrative framework for program development and program evaluation. Develop a logic model for a program

 

 

Learning Activities:

Read Cooksy, L.J., Gill, P. & Kelly, P.A. (2001). The program logic model as an integrative  framework for a multimethod evaluation. Evaluation and Program Planning, 24(2), 119-128. Read the WK Kellogg Foundation Logic Model Development Guide. This is an excellent guide that takes you step-by-step in developing a logic model for your program.

 
 

 

Assignments:

Complete Worksheet 7 and Submit it via Vista. Begin work on Worksheet 8 If you are taking the course entirely through distance education, introduce yourself on the discussion board.  To get to the discussion board, go to WebCT Vista and log in using your unity id and password.  If you are in the distance ed portion of the course, you should see AEE 521 601 Fall 2006 in your course list.  Click on it.  After you click on the course, you will see the discussion board topics.  This week's topic is "Logic Models and Programming."
