Class 13: FFA Degrees
Objectives: Upon completion of this lesson you should be able to:

Identify the requirements for each of the FFA degrees
Describe the relationship between each FFA degree and SAE programs.
Complete a state FFA degree application 
Learn about the American FFA degree application

Learning Activities:

These actvities should be completed before class for on-campus students as this provides a foundation for the class discussion.


For distance education students, these activities constitute the lesson. Pay special attention to the PowerPoint Presentation.

Take the Degree pretest to see how much you know about the FFA Degree program.

Go to the National FFA American Degree web site to learn more about the American FFA degree. This site has links to the American Degree Handbook, PowerPoint presentations and other valuable resources.

Laboratory:

For students who are taking the class live on campus, there is a one and half hour lab. This activity will be done during the lab.

For distance education students, the lab will be described and the student will be responsible for performing the activity.
Introduction: Complete either a State or American FFA Degree Application using the data from your financial records. Click here to download a Microsoft Word File copy of the NC state degree application (this document is a template, you can type in the gray boxes or you can print the document and type on it). If you are in another state, feel free to use that state's form. This is your weekly assignment due next week.
