Read Eckert and Bell's article, "Invisible Force: Farmer's Mental Models and How They Influence Learning Actions" in the June 2005 issue of the Journal of Extension.  Do their findings agree/disagree with what you have learned about adult learning principles?  How can their findings be used in designing adult education for farmers?

Assignments: Discussion:

Develop a list of 10 adult learning principles that you believe in strongly (include an explanation of each). These principles should be based on your philosophy of adult education, knowledge of andragogy, readings, etc. Includes this list in your course notes (it will be useful for the discussion board, reflection journal, and final exam).
