Introduction:

Most people can use Word for common tasks but haven't mastered two of the really useful components of words - tabs and tables. As professionals in agricultural and extension education, you are often expected to layout information for reports in an attractive manner. By using tables and tabs you will have maximum control over how to lay out this material. One of the easiest ways to evaluate the expertise (or lack of expertise) of a person who claims to be good at Word is to see how they lay out a table. Nine out of 10 people do it incorrectly. You don't want to be one of those nine.
