- Evaluations
are very important in the work of an
Extension Agent. We must be prepared to
evaluate each and every activity that we are working on.
The first and foremost thing we must answer
with evaluations is: Did we meet our
objectives. NC 4-H has Ben
Silliman, Extension 4-H Specialist, taking responsibility of
evaluating the
activities and events that make up the NC 4-H Program.
- For this week there will be a
couple of powerpoint presentations that will help in establishing
a basic knowledge of 4-H evaluations and how beneifical they are.
- Here is a journal article for you to read from
the Journal of
Extension about evaluations. Are evaluations an afterthought or are
they an integral part of program development?
