| Another teacher organization is the American Federation of Teachers. This group
is not found in North Carolina and is considered by some to be more of an
union than a professional organization because it is affiliated with the AFL-CIO. |

| If you become a university professor of agricultural
education, you will want to join the American Association for Agricultural Education. |

| If you become a state lever supervisor of agricultural
education, you will want to join the NationalAssociation
of Supervisors of Agriculture. |
