Assignments:

Teachers should develop a philosophy of teaching.  A teaching philosophy essentially is what you believe about teaching and learning and how you will translate those beliefs into practice.  However, your philosophy should be based upon sound educational research, theory and practice.  Based upon the information included in this lesson and in previous lessons, write your philosophy of teaching.  You should be able to articulate your teaching philosophy in 1-2 pages.  Note:  You do not have to deal with every principle of learning or motivation or every aspect of research on effective teaching.
