Benjamin Bloom and colleagues developed a taxonomy for classifying all knowledge. The three general domains in the taxonomy are affective, psychomotor, and cognitive. Educators are typically most concerned with the levels in the cognitive domain. Here are some examples of verbs to use in writing behavioral objectives for all three domains .
Review the sample lesson plan.

Assignments:

Select an agricultural topic and develop a complete lesson plan for that topic. This plan should include all of the parts of a lesson plan found in the PowerPoint presentation. To give you an idea of the scope of the assignment, there should be a minimum of 3 problems and concerns and corresponding problem solutions included in the lesson plan. Include instructional aids (transparency masters, PowerPoint presentations, worksheets, etc.) that you will use. Note: You will not have to develop a test for this lesson at this time. (We have not discussed tests yet). I will ask, in the evaluation section, that you describe how you will evaluate students on this lesson—quizzes, tests, projects, homework, etc. This is a major assignment and is expected to take two weeks to complete. Therefore, this will be a two-week assignment and there will be no assignment next week.
