Walkway of Champions ...Become a permanent part of NC State history on the Walkway of Champions!

Proceeds from the brick sales will help us grow and enhance this College's ability to continue major contributions to the future of NC State and America." --The Honorable E. Norris Tolson ('62), Secretary of Revenue, State of North Carolina What is the Walkway of Champions? The Walkway is an area designated to honor all the Champions of the college using personalized bricks. The area will contain up to 3000 personalized red bricks and 300 personalized white bricks. CALS Alumni and Friends Advisory Board members Wesley Wyatt ('79), Norris Tolson ('62) and Dennis Osborne, ('72) have taken the leadership role for this project, and invite you to join them in placing a brick in the Walkway...not only to honor a recipient or organization, but also to show your support for the College! Where will the Walkway of Champions be? The Walkway will be located at the entrance area to Patterson Hall on the NC State Campus. This entrance is used by all visitors to the college administration offices (Dean, Agricultural Research Service, Foundations, Academic Programs, Career Services and the Agricultural Insitute). Each day students, prospective students and their families, visiting dignitaries, employers coming to interview our students, and donors will use the Walkway and see your support for the College. Who can purchase bricks for the Walkway of Champions? Any person, organization or company! How will the proceeds of this project be used? Proceeds will provide endowed scholarships for the college from the CALS Alumni and Friends Society, as well as support for the CALS Alumni and Friends Society in the areas of communication with our constituents, recognition and awards and Society activities and events. How do I add my brick(s) to the Walkway of Champions? It's easy! Choose one of the types of bricks available, red ($75 each) or white ($150 each). There is no limit to the number of bricks you may purchase, but the total number of bricks for the project is limited...so all orders are processed as space permits. Your purchase is fully tax deductible and a receipt will be sent with your certificate of purchase.. You may add up to three lines with 18 characters per line on each brick. We suggest the following types of brick messages, but other variations are permitted, with committee approval: Name, degree and graduation date (student activity or organization name may be added) for alumni and graduating students; In Honor of..., In Memory of...., or simply the name of your organization or company. All engraving will be in capital letters. Fill out the form and mail or fax it in to us with payment or payment information. We cannot accept orders via e-mail due to errors created with symbols in messages. You may also call in your order, but please fill out the form and have it in front of you when you call.

you purchase a brick, you will receive a certificate bearing the
inscription just as your brick will be engraved. We would like to
offer a special item, an engraved mini-brick, only 1.5" x 3"
x .5" thick in size, that will be personalized identically
to your brick laid in front of Patterson Hall. It is a great gift
for the person you honor or guaranteed to be a one-of-a-kind conversation
