4-H Youth Livestock
The 4-H Youth Livestock Program
continues to grow as more and more youth incorporate their interest
in cattle, sheep, swine and goats into 4-H projects. Emphasis for the various
traditional and non-traditional projects continues to be
focused on child development. Programs such as after school
clinics and community contests draw urban kids in while events such as statewide
judging contests and beef handling and management camps are attended
from across the state.
