Areas of Responsibility/Interest

Research involves developing techniques for rapid clinical decision-making that accounts for uncertainly, constraints, economics and other factors in modern production medicine. Primary approaches are 1) decision theory, 2) econometrics, 3) mathematical modeling and 4) test efficiencies. Long range goals are to produce tools to help practitioners and producers better manage their herds to maximize welfare while meeting their goals.
