

Dr. Brenda P. Alston-Mills Research Interests: Investigation of milk as a biological fluid for determining the extent to which factors in milk regulate or modulate the structure and function of the mammary gland; genetic influences on lactational performance (mice) and milk composition (pigs) and subsequent effects on growth.
Teaching Interests: ANS 205 Anatomy and Physiology of Domestic Animals (Fall), co-teaches ANS (PHY) 580 Mammalian Endocrinology (Alternate Spring) and ANS (FS) Biology of Milk (Alternate Spring), advises 25 undergraduate and 4 graduate students.
