Animal Science/Food Science/Poultry Science 020 is a
general course that will acquaint you with the importance of animal agriculture
and will provide a general introduction to terminology, nutrition,
reproduction, breeding, management and marketing of farm animals. A portion of
the course deals with the meat industry, equating live animal and carcass
characteristics with market requirements.
Class Location:
Polk Hall, Room 5A; When lab is not off campus it
will be located in Polk 5H (unless otherwise announced). When lab meets
off campus vans will pick students up between Polk & Harrelson.
