Unit 1 Introduction to ARE 309 - Lecture Notes

On the website <http://www.cals.ncsu.edu/course/are309/> you will find a brief biographical sketch that provides information about me. I am a licensed attorney who has worked in this area for some years. Seventy percent of my appointment is Extension so most of my time is spent providing educational programs at various locations around the state to people with specific problems that require solutions. Among my more popular programs that relate to environmental issues are programs on voluntary agricultural districts and local land preservation options, including conservation easements.
