This stamp, bearing the World Health Organization's emblem for its malaria eradication program, was issued by the African republic of Mali on April 7, 1962.   Fourteen other countries also issued stamps with this same design (but each in a slightly different color).   These countries include Cameroun, Central African Republic, Chad, Comoro Islands, Congo People's Republic, Dahomey, Gabon, Ivory Coast, Madagascar, Mauritania, Niger, Senegal, Somali Coast, and Upper Volta.
