PP 530 Course Objectives

Students will:

 1) Develop knowledge base and critical thinking skills on issues of agriculture, ethics, and the environment.

2) Identify moral arguments associated with agricultural ethics and environmental issues

3) Use ethical/ logical arguments to question or substantiate individual beliefs concerning contemporary agricultural issues that impact the environment

4) Learn to write case studies, reaction papers, and a position paper on agricultural issues that impact the environment. Use individual role playing to present arguments in a team project.

5) Identify and develop appropriate skills for conducting research in an ethical manner
