PP530 Syllabus

Attendance Policy: Students are expected to attend class regularly and actively participate in discussions. Attendance will be monitored and class participation will be a significant component of your grade.

Academic Integrity: All students are expected to be honest and adhere to the general university guidelines regarding academic integrity found in the Code of Student Conduct. Instances of academic dishonesty will be referred to the appropriate University administrator for action. Honesty and integrity are expected in completion of all exams and assignments for this course.

Grading Policy: Course will be graded on a +/- letter basis. 

Required text(s): Papers will be provided in .pdf format.One text is required. The Elements of Moral Philosophy by James Rachels.

Field Trip Policy: None planned at present time.

Class participation - 20%
Mid-term exam -15% 
Reaction papers (1) -15%
Position term paper -30% 
Team oral presentation - 20%
