Useful Information
Links to World Wide Web Pages about Invertebrate
Identification and Classification:
(not updated for 2004 yet)
This link goes to the "Database Query" page of the Integrated Taxonomic
Information System and can be used to look up the full classification
of
identified genera or higher taxa, even by common name in some
cases.
After the query link takes you to the genus's page, then click on the
genus
name to see full classification. If you query higher taxa names,
only the classification from there upwards is given, so the best way to
enter is with the genus name.
Not recently updated, and many links are void.
