Lake Management Decision Tree


This is an organized process for deciding on various management steps for a lake that has become excessively eutrophic and developed poor fisheries qualities.  The primary problem is considered to be nutrient enrichment, and the secondary, restoration of a balamced and productive fish community.  A basic assumption is that enhancement of fishing will require well-developed littoral vegetation as nursery habitat for juvenile fishes.
