NCSU CAPTURES LINNAEAN GAMES CHAMPIONSHIP
AT THE ESA - SOUTHEASTERN BRANCH MEETING

Congratulations to our Linnaean Games Team for winning the Southeastern Branch Competition in Jacksonville, FL on March 3rd. Our team had to beat Clemson and local favorites, UF Gators, to get the coveted prize. The team was composed of grad students: Keith Bayless, Matt Bertone, Ana Cabrera, Jake Doskocil and Kateryn Rochon and coached by Yasmin Cardoza and Hannah Burrack. NCSU's name will be engraved on the traveling plaque and the team will get a cash award to help cover its travel expenses to represent the Southeastern Branch at the national ESA meeting in Reno in November.
