Dr. Nalepa's present program efforts at the NCDA are directed toward the biology and aggregation behavior of the introduced lady beetle Harmonia axyridis. Other interests include the behavior, ecology and evolution of cockroaches and termites, including biogeography of species and karyotype groups of the wood feeding cockroach Cryptocercus.
