4-H INSECT COLLECTIONS ON DISPLAY

Judging Underway

Judges Bob Blinn and Mariah Bock examine collections at the State Fair this week. 4-H'ers from all over the state enter their collections. This year collectors range in age from 6 to 13. Ribbons and prizes are awarded, but mostly they are exposed to seeing life that exists all around them and learn that insects are not something to be feared. The exhibit runs through the duration of the fair and is located in the Education Building.
