Several of our graduate students took top honors at the 2012 ESA meeting:

Alejandro Del Pozo: Larry Larson Graduate Student Award for Leadership in Applied Entomology. (Sponsored by Dow AgroSciences. )

Kevin Langdon: 1st Place Poster Display PIE2. Relative susceptibility of selected potato cultivars to two wireworm species.

Rachel Suits: 2nd Place Poster Display PIE 5. To eat or not to eat: Preference and performance of corn earworm on soybean tissues.

Angela Bucci: MUVE Travel Award

The ESA meeting this year had a record number of student presentations. There were 469 oral presentations and 188 posters for a total of 657 student presentations.
