North Carolina Residency Forms There are two different types of
paperwork for North Carolina residency . Students should complete these
forms only after fulfilling the North
Carolina residency requirements . See instructions
for submitting application forms.
- NON-RESIDENTS OF NC (MOST STUDENTS). Students who are already
enrolled in graduate school and wish to claim North Carolina residency
for tuition purposes need to fill out the long
form. Non-US citizens must also complete and submit
the Supplemental
Form along with the Long Form. These forms should be submitted 14
to 75 days prior to your 3rd semester of classes. Click here

- NORTH CAROLINA RESIDENTS. If you have already met North Carolina
residency requirements at the time of your application for admission
to graduate school, then you will only need to complete the short
form. This form is included with the application packet and must
be submitted with your application for admission to graduate school.

The Armed
Services Form is for members of the Armed Service or their dependent
relatives.
