919.515.7746 Research interests: Molecular systematics, phylogeny, and diversity of higher flies, including relationships between the "acalyptrate" families and also relationships within several families (especially Agromyzidae, Empididae, and Asteiidae). I am also interested in biodiversity and historical patterns of diversification in hyperdiverse fly genera such as Phytomyza, Empis, and Rhamphomyia.
